Spawning Thousands of Assets in Unreal Engine 5

Japanese ArchViz Christinayan has tested UE5's performance capabilities by spawning thousands of assets.

Unreal Engine 5 has been fully released less than a week ago, meaning thousands of artists from all across the globe still continue to test the engine to learn more about its strengths and limitations. Japanese ArchViz and Unreal Engine enthusiast Christinayan has decided to also test Epic's new engine by spawning thousands of assets, recreating a scene from the Doraemon manga series. The demonstration video showed that the engine can easily handle heaps of assets without any performance issues.

To create the scene, the artist also used The City Sample, Epic Games' new downloadable asset pack that features thousands of assets used to create The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience. You can learn more about it here.
