This places the game as the second most popular in the Star Wars franchise in terms of player count.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has achieved a remarkable milestone, with a peak of over 67,000 players concurrent players on Steam, making it one of the best results in the Star Wars franchise.
According to SteamDB, the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor game achieved the second-highest player count for the franchise on Valve's platform on April 30, with a peak of 67,855 concurrent players. The only title that surpassed it was 2022's LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which set a record of over 82,000 concurrent players.
This player count is a pretty good start for the game which managed to achieve this result despite facing criticism from both gamers and reviewers due to serious optimization issues – the title currently holds a mixed rating of 55% positive reviews on Steam.
Apparently, problems with the optimization in the game have not deterred dedicated Star Wars fans from playing the game. And some have even taken action to bring improvements to the game. For instance, a user on Nexus Mods has created and released a configuration file that minimizes stutters in the game, while another enthusiast is currently working on a mod that incorporates DLSS 3 technology into Survivor.
