Star Wars: Visions Volume 2’s First Trailer Revealed

The sequel will feature nine new shorts produced by studios from different corners of the world, with each studio providing its unique take on the Star Wars saga.

During the Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 event, Lucasfilm and Disney+ showcased the official trailer for the second volume of Star Wars: Visions.

The sequel to the highly praised debut season of the animated anthology series remains faithful to the show's essence – it will present nine new shorts created by nine studios from various parts of the world, with each studio offering its distinct interpretation of the saga.

The shorts included in Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 are: Sith by El Guiri (Spain), Screecher's Reach by Cartoon Saloon (Ireland), In the Stars by Punkrobot (Chile), I Am Your Mother by Aardman (United Kingdom), Journey to the Dark Head by Studio Mir (South Korea), The Spy Dancer by Studio La Cachette (France), The Bandits of Golak by 88 Pictures (India), The Pit by D'art Shtajio (Japan) and Lucasfilm Ltd., and Aau's Song by Triggerfish (South Africa).

In the trailer, viewers were treated to breathtaking visuals from each of the shorts, which showcase tales from both the Light and Dark Sides of the Force. The shorts feature a diverse range of animation styles, including 2D, 3D, and stop-motion.

Additionally, during the event, the companies also revealed the key art for the series, which showcases characters from each of the shorts emerging from a stylized "2." This image effectively conveys the wide array of stories, tones, and animation styles that viewers can expect from every episode in Volume 2.
