Yesterday, Steam reached a new record of 33,675,229 concurrent users being online. During this time, there were more than 10.6 million Steam users actively playing games, marking it as one of the highest figures for the platform.
This achievement of setting a new record for the concurrent number of online users during the winter holidays is similar to what happened a year earlier. In January 2023, Steam reached its highest figure of 33 million concurrent users.
The top games on the most-played chart this weekend are the usual favorites. Counter-Strike 2 takes the first spot with a peak of 1.2 million players playing simultaneously within 24 hours. In second place is Dota 2, with over 730 thousand players logging in today.
