People ask to return the old UI.

Steam has updated its store page design, and if you're like me and hate random small text among colorful images, you'll like the new look. However, so far, the general reviews are Mixed.
The redesign was supposed to offer "a more dynamic and personalized experience, making it easier for players to browse the store and discover new games." The left column of links and the blue menu bar have been combined.
In addition, the search and the menu are now available on more pages. The search is smarter than before, showing game suggestions based on your interests and displaying games you've recently searched for.

Recommendations are now all in one place, and the categories tab is personalized for you, "making it easier than ever to find games based on aspects of the games you play."

Users, however, are not all happy with the changes. "This actually seems a lot harder to use, more clicks required to do things. Aesthetics are a little worse but I don't really care about that. Sick of companies "prettying up" their interface by making it less usable to cater to the 5 entire people that do everything on a tablet laptop," said one player among demands of an option to bring the old UI back.
"Thanks Valve I am a grandma using Steam on a giant old touchscreen Samsung tablet," complained a person on a Steam subreddit. "Yet another site update that gets worse on PC in favor of mobile. Bigger icons, less information, more clicks to navigate menus," added another.
I doubt Valve will bring the old look back, but I'm always for having a choice.
