The DLC will also include the highly-anticipated Photo Mode.
During today's PlayStation State of Play, Stellar Blade developer Shift Up announced that a crossover with NieR: Automata is coming later this year. This revelation confirms the "new [intellectual property] collaboration" mentioned in an IPO filing document back in May.
The crossover announcement appears in the last part of the trailer, which shows the protagonist, Eve, wearing the costume of 2B, the fictional android in Nier: Automata. Other than that, the trailer didn’t provide many details about this DLC.
Besides this collaboration, the highly anticipated Photo Mode will also be available soon, which allows players to pick up their favorite poses, place lighting, adjust the depth of field, and fine-tune parameters such as HDR, exposure, and saturation. Meanwhile, players can place decorations like frames and logos. It surprises fans by literally providing a photo studio rather than a basic mode.

What’s more, the original soundtrack of Stellar Blade, with more than 180 tracks, is available today on various streaming platforms.
Besides the newly announced DLC and updates, fans have more to expect from this successful action-adventure game, which sold over one million copies two months after its launch. At least a PC port and a sequel for the game have been included in Shift Up’s plans.

While focusing on the game’s development, the company has to deal with some unexpected issues. They were recently sued by a film production company called Stellarblade, which claims its customers now have difficulties finding information about its business because search engines show Stellar Blade the game.
