Shift Up, the developer of the action-adventure Stellar Blade, might release it for PC in 2025.
In the Q&A session referring to 3Q business performance results, Shift Up said that the game's launch for PC is being considered within 2025. "Considering recent trends such as Steam's expanding market share in the AAA game sector and the global success of "Black Myth: Wukong," we expect the performance on PC to exceed that on consoles," the company said.
Stellar Blade was released as a PS5 exclusive in April. In the Q&A session, Shift Up said that its sales were stable over the 3Q. The developer has consistently released updates and patches to maintain the game's popularity and enhance the IP value. The developer plans to continue supporting the game's success with the Nier: Automata DLC and marketing activities until the platform expansion.

In June, CFO Jaewoo Ahn stated that the company is "currently considering a PC version of Stellar Blade," which "would be a great way to monetize the IP once again." The company's CEO Kim Hyung-Tae said they couldn't "comment on the exact timing or whether or not it will be released due to the contractual relationship."
