It went as you expect.

Allowing your Twitch chat to control any part of your game is usually a hilarious and disastrous adventure, but streamer Blurbs took it to the next level. He created a Skyrim mod that lets his subscribers give characters voice lines so they say them through text-to-speech. You can imagine how it went.
"I have never made a game mod before. I've ventured into the modding universe [where] chat can live-voice NPCs. It's gonna go horribly," he said and was right.
From "some of us have real jobs" to kids offering questionable substances and a plethora of dirty jokes – Blurbs has seen it all and now apparently regrets his life choices. I'm sure his viewers don't, though.
So how does it work? Subscribers can write a 300-symbol message, give the character a voice, and then wait for Blurbs to find them in-game. If the person is in the chat, they can add more lines to support the dialogue (honestly, to just wreak more havoc.)
Talking with Kotaku, Blurbs explained the most complicated part was learning the tools of modmaking.
“So it’s not a normal ‘mod’ really,” he said. “It’s multiple programs running all together for this to work. I honestly doubt I’d be able to package it as [an] all-in-one mod and release it publicly, so [there’s] really [no] need for a name. I’ll be putting out a YouTube video soon with the resources I used to make it, however.”
The voices behind the characters are made with AI, but the streamer pointed out that they're a collection of either “actors who were paid for their voices to be used” or “created digitally from scratch.”
Oh, and did I mention that viewers whose NPC dies in the game get banned from Blurbs' channel for five minutes? What a way to make the experience more hardcore.
