Street Fighter 6 Open Beta Scheduled for May 19-21

Capcom has announced an open beta test for Street Fighter 6, taking place from May 19 to May 22.

Capcom has announced that it is set to hold an open beta for Street Fighter 6 from May 19 to May 21. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.

Capcom has confirmed that the upcoming open beta will offer players the same game modes as the closed beta held in December 2022.

These include Ranked Match, Casual Match, Battle Hub Match, Open Tournament, Extreme Battle, Game Center, and Training Mode, along with characters such as Luke, Jamie, Chun-Li, Juri, Kimberly, Guile, Ryu, and Ken. Additionally, the company has assured that the final release of the game will feature further character-balancing updates.

Furthermore, the game will include cross-play functionality, allowing players from different platforms to enjoy the game together.

Street Fighter 6 will be released on June 2, and, following its launch, will receive ongoing support, according to the developers. The first year of DLC characters will kick off in the summer with Rashid from Street Fighter 5, followed by newcomer A.K.I. in November. In Winter 2024 and Spring 2024, respectively, Ed from Street Fighter 4 and Akuma from Street Fighter II Turbo will be added to the game.
