The team has shared an amazing new gameplay trailer for the upcoming horror game.
Game development team known as Sven has recently shared a new official gameplay trailer for Subliminal, an upcoming Unreal Engine 5-powered single-player horror game inspired by the aesthetics of the Backrooms and liminal spaces.
Filled to the brim with VHS horror vibes, the game promises to feature real-time ray tracing, endless procedurally generated levels, state-of-the-art lighting effects, hostile entities, liminal spaces, and an overall sense that something is amiss. In Subliminal, players will have the opportunity to explore and navigate an endless array of interconnected liminal spaces through perspective and light-based puzzles.
The newly-released trailer showcases Subliminal's eerie game levels, provides a sneak peek at the entities that will presumably hunt the player, demonstrates the stunning lighting effects powered by Unreal Engine 5, and more. Additionally, the trailer features a neat Local 58-style intro, further enhancing the game's horror appeal. You can check out the full trailer attached above or by visiting Sven's YouTube channel.
