The latest Substance Designer comes with the Substance Engine V8 which allowed the team to add new tools, previously impossible.
The Distance node now offers more variety with the new Manhattan and Chebyshev distances. The release also brings supersmooth gradients. The new smooth interpolation mode provides a more natural mix between colors.
As for the Curve node, it also got a new option allowing users to output the curve texture (works in grayscale only).
