Take a Look at This Customizable Godot Toon Shader with Patterns

The shader includes customizable shadows, Local Screen UV, and more.

3D Artist Binbun shared their custom toon shader created with Godot that allows for visualizing various effects, such as hard shadows, patterns, and a painterly look.

The features include tinting shadows, customizable shadows with steps and smoothing between them, patterns based on grayscale textures, Local Screen UV, and customizable rim light.

The full version of the shader includes 22 preset materials, from basic toon setups to painterly materials, along with a few different textures that can be used for patterns.
