3D Artist Tomás Correia showed this cool concept of a loading screen created in an early digital-age futurism style for a WIP project titled quatiica, an anti-gravity racing game with vibes similar to the Wipeout series. The concept footage looks stylish and high-quality, bringing in a nostalgic retro-futuristic aesthetic.
According to the developer on Discord, Quatiica centers on a world inspired by a vision of the "new '90s," set in the years around 2096. The story takes place on Earth in an optimistic future – "just a completely renewed society where motorsports are still fun and exciting." The character design is inspired by Bubblegum Crisis, while maintaining the original craft.
