3D Rigging Artist Alexandre Fernandes, whom we had the pleasure of interviewing a few years back, has recently shared a WIP look at this rig of Mister Fantastic. Alexandre is using the iconic leader of the Fantastic Four to demonstrate a basic ribbon rig setup he's developing for an upcoming tutorial series.
The first part is already out, though it's fully in Portuguese. The complete series will include three videos, guiding you step by step through the process of creating a flexible, functional, and professional rig based on Mister Fantastic. Alexandre's series is tailored for both beginners and experienced riggers, offering techniques that are applicable across film, games, and 3D animation, and easily adaptable to your own projects:
