Take a Look at This Photorealistic 3D Italian City Scene Made with UE5

The cinematic scene by Scans Factory features multiple locations and over 600 assets.

Have a look at this impressive artwork, which takes digital art to the next level – a 3D Italian city environment created in Unreal Engine 5 by the art studio Scans Factory. The scene is optimized for real-time rendering and can be used for video games, virtual production, VR experiences, and architectural visualization.

The scene looks like real camera footage and can easily be mistaken for a movie clip, conveying the vibe of an authentic Italian city with vibrant urban life and lively cafes and restaurants. The locations look not only detailed and photorealistic but also very aesthetic and appealing. The scene features streets, buildings, and landmarks, and every detail, including lanterns, garlands, shabby cobblestones, reflections, and cutlery, demonstrates the effort put in it and makes the setup highly immersive.

There are three lighting scenarios for various setups: sunset, overcast, and daytime. Take a look at the diversity of artistic decisions that can be realized with the scene:

It includes more than 600 assets, for instance, building elevations, cobblestone streets, charming restaurants, and classic Italian scooters. According to the creators, most assets are based on photogrammetry scans in Rome using Capturing Reality.
