Take Look at Some Early Footage of Split Fiction

While Hazelight's Split Fiction is enjoying universal love, we get a rare chance to sneak a glimpse of some of its early footage thanks to director Josef Fares.

He shared a side-by-side comparison between the final result and what it looked like long before the release. The hard work on animations is especially obvious in the video: every simple movement was later refined with tiny details.

And, of course, blocky shapes turned into intricate models – truly impressive work!

Split Fiction launched several weeks ago with 98% positive reviews and over 250,000 concurrent players, selling 2 million copies in the first week. It took 2 weeks for players to complete its extremely challenging level called Laser Hell for the first time, and Hazelight offered them free tickets to its headquarters in Sweden and a look at the studio's next game.
