Damien Peinoit, an Environment Artist with experience working for studios such as Blur Studio, Industrial Light & Magic, has created a school, DamSchool, where he publishes courses, free assets for artists, shares his knowledge, and assists with portfolio review.  

In the latest project, Damien was in charge of the creation of "The Drowned Giant" beach environment. He worked on modeling, sculpting, texturing, and shading, with SpeedTree for bushes' animation and with ZBrush for rocks and sand. 

DamSchool offers courses for Environment Artists, Free Z-Brushes, and membership, which includes Discord private group, video tutorials, lessons, live Q&A, and private community.  On this page, you may check free tips and tricks from Damien.

In the tutorial " Environment Course for VFX and Cinematics", students will learn how to create cinematic-looking environments to build their Reel and Portfolio and improve the skills with 16 hours of intense breakdown and tips&tricks videos. In the tutorial, Damien covers Modeling, Sculpting, Basic Shading and works with Udim, SpeedTree, Substance Painter, and Lookdev.
It is necessary to note that all the tutorials come without voice, with English and French subtitles.
