Sakura Rabbit showed how the recently-introduced feature can be used to achieve high-quality lighting.
Developer and VFX Artist Sakura Rabbit, known to many for creating incredible effects with Unity, has recently shared a new demo offering a closer look at one of the engine's recent lighting features. This time, the creator experimented with Unity's Adaptive Probe Volumes (APV), a new lighting method and an enhanced extension of the existing Light Probe Groups introduced as an experimental function with Unity 2022.2. In the demo, Sakura showed how the feature works and demonstrated how it can be used to achieve photorealistic lighting.
