The Analogue Handheld Is Coming in May 2021

This new console has a cool-looking design.

Last year, Analogue announced they're working on a portable Game Boy console that was supposed to be released in 2020. COVID-19 changed their plans, but the new device is still coming in May of 2021, and you will be able to preorder it starting next week.

This hardware-emulated Nintendo handheld features a 3.5 inch 1600x1440 pixel display and built-in Nanoloop music creation software. It allows players to launch Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games natively.

You can visit the official website to preorder the device starting August 3 at noon Eastern time. The Analogue Pocket would cost you $200, while the dock for HDMI out and up to four external controllers would be $100.
