THE FINALS to Receive a New 5v5 Attack & Defend Mode

Embark Studios, the developer of THE FINALS, unveiled a new gameplay mode on their official website and launched a brief trailer.

In this special 5v5 format, two teams will take turns defending and attacking the target, the terminal. Each of the seven rounds will commence with players delivering a decryption key to the facility.

Terminal Attack's key features include no character health recovery, the inability to revive teammates, and a single life for each combatant. This mode will be introduced to the online shooter on May 2 as part of the second season of support, available in THE FINALS for a limited time.

Speaking of THE FINALS, the game was released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S in the first half of December 2023. It has earned 80 points out of 100 on Metacritic from critics and holds a 75% positive review rating on Steam.
