The PS5 version of the game is set to be released on September 2, 2022.
During the Summer Game Fest event, Naughty Dog announced an upcoming remake of The Last of Us' first chapter, released back in 2013. According to the announcement, the game will be called The Last of Us Part I and will be released later this year on PS5 on September 2. What's more, the legendary game is also coming to PC, although it is still in development and will most likely be released after the PS5 version.
The game promises to be "a total overhaul" of the original, "faithfully reproduced but incorporating modernized gameplay, improved controls and expanded accessibility options."
