This summer, exciting news broke during the Nintendo Direct broadcast as the team unveiled plans to bring the legendary Batman Arkham trilogy to Nintendo Switch this fall. They promised that this highly anticipated edition would feature all the original chapters from the trilogy, with the exception of Batman: Arkham Origins. Additionally, as we previously reported, the Nintendo edition will include all DLCs released for the trilogy.
However, there has been a change in the release date following a recent post on Twitter.
"Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch will now launch on December 1, 2023.
More time is needed to bring players the best possible experience on Nintendo Switch. We apologize to fans who are excited to play this version of the trilogy. Thank you for your patience!" as stated on the official social media account of the series.
The port is being handled by the studio Turn Me Up Games, known for their work on versions such as It Takes Two, Borderlands Legendary Collection, and other titles for the Nintendo Switch.
Speaking of the fans' reaction, surprisingly, they approached the situation with understanding, making jokes, and saying something like: "Good! Too many games coming this month."
You can pre-order the collection here for $59,99. The size of the trilogy will be around 53 GB.
