The Lies of P Demo Officially Hit One Million Downloads

NEOWIZ, a leading game developer and publisher, has announced that The Lies of P demo surpassed 1 million downloads. 

The Lies of P demo was announced and released on June 8, during the Summer Game Fest live showcase. Since the announcement, the experience of playing the game has received mostly positive reviews from players and the game has hit one million downloads. It currently has a 4.3/5 on the Xbox store and earned a spot on Steam's top 100 most-played games. In addition, The Lies of P has reached over 170 thousand views on Twitch and is now one of the top ten pre-ordered games on PlayStation. 

In a message to The Lies of P fans a Project Director, Jiwon Choi wrote:

"The Lies of P team has poured their heart and soul into creating a demo experience that surpasses your expectations, and witnessing the positive response has been truly gratifying! We eagerly anticipate the continued feedback as you delve into the demo once again. Please keep sharing your thoughts, and rest assured, we are committed to delivering the very best Lies of P experience on September 19th."

The demo features the first two chapters of the Souls-like game inspired by the story of Pinocchio. There are three boss fights and several locations to explore. You get an introduction to key characters and a chance to try out the weapon assemble feature. Players take the role of P, a puppet that has to battle a way through the city on a relentless quest to find Geppetto and become human. The game has a captivating plot with intriguing narrative options, a beautiful setting full of suspense, intricate combat, and character customization tools.

The demo presents hours of gameplay and access to the first two chapters of the game, including boss encounters, introductions to key characters, and areas to explore, such as the primary hub area – Hotel Krat. Lies of P releases for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on September 19.
