FX Lead at Industrial Light & Magic Alex Halstead has unveiled a new series of images created using an artistic AI-powered text-to-image software Midjourney. This time, the artist decided to reimagine The Lord of the Rings universe.
According to Halstead, to create this series he had to go through a number of prompts over several days to get these amazing results we see now. Each image uses different prompts but, as an example, the artist shared that one of them was "Mines of Moria, shafts of light, ArtStation, cinematic lighting, —ar 16:9".
This is not the first time the artist is using Midjourney to recreate wonderful universes known and loved by many fans. Previously, Alex Halstead also reimagined Star Wars presenting a cool series of AI-generated artworks.
