An interesting position has recently been discovered on Amazon, indicating that fans of Stardew Valley, a renowned farming simulator developed by Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone, will soon be able to recreate their favorite in-game dishes, including the odd ones such as the Strange Bun and Seafoam Pudding, in real-life.
Set to hit the shelves sometime in April 2024, "The Official Stardew Valley Cookbook" is currently being written by Ryan Novak, the author behind The Stardew Valley Guidebook and Hollow Knight Wanderer's Journal, and ConcernedApe himself, ensuring that the real-life recipes for the Pumpkin Soup and the Survival Burger accurately represent their in-game counterparts.
As per the book's description, it will feature more than 50 recipes from the game, accompanied by "vibrant photography and original illustrations". The recipes will be organized by season, meaning that in the Spring section, you will, for example, learn how to cook the Farmer's Lunch, which in the game requires a parsnip that only grows in Spring, the Fall section will teach you how to cook the Pumpkin Soup that requires an Autumn-exclusive pumpkin, and so forth.
Additionally, such dishes as Pink Cake, Crab Cakes, Complete Breakfast, which for whatever reason is a Spring dish and requires a "fresh early spring rhubarb", an ingredient it doesn't need in the game, Survival Burger, Roots Platter, Seafoam Pudding, and Strange Bun were confirmed to be featured in the book. You can learn more about the upcoming guide and pre-order it on Amazon.

Earlier, The Witcher Official Cookbook was also confirmed to be in production. The book is being written by Anita Sarna and Karolina Krupecka, the creators of Nerds’ Kitchen and Witcher Kitchen. It will feature 80 recipes inspired by the famous game series and will be released on November 21, 2023.
