The Original Red Dead Redemption Has Been Rated in Korea

A new rating indicates that a remastered version of the iconic action-adventure might be in the works.

On June 15, 2023, Rockstar's original 2010 Red Dead Redemption has been given a new rating by The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea, getting the classification number of "CC-NV-230615-001", where NV indicates that the title will be a console game.

According to Gematsu, who first spotted the new rating, ratings for all the original versions of RDR already existed in Korea prior to the reveal of a new one, hinting that a remastered version of the iconic action-adventure might be in the works at Rockstar. The studio itself, however, hasn't shared any RDR-related announcements and hasn't commented on the situation, leaving the exact reason for the new rating a mystery.
