Dan Stapleton from IGN tried a new VR shooter from Valve and talked about his experience in the review video on YouTube. There, he discussed visual features and enhancements and paid attention to the details approach in the new game of the Half-Life world.

As he noticed in the beginning: "One of the first things that struck me when I started playing Half-Life: Alyx was the dirt under Alyx Vance's fingernails. It's a simple thing, but it's not often that you see that level of fine detail in a VR game".

He also did an overview of the environment, the design solutions compared to other Half-Life games and the feeling it gives during the gameplay, and the VR perspective of the game.
