11 bit studios revealed the release window for their upcoming game titled The Alters on social media. According to the company, the project is set to be released in the first half of 2024. The team didn't specify the exact date though.
The developers have added that journalists will have the opportunity to see the survival game in action at the Gamescom event, which will take place from August 23 to 27. In September, the team will conduct a press tour for journalists from the United States. The debut gameplay of The Alters will be shown to the general public in the fall.
The team has also shared a couple of curious facts about the game. For example, the game will feature over ten thousand lines of fully voice-acted and animated dialogues. The story of the game revolves around a man who crash-lands on a remote planet. To stay alive, the main character will have to create alternative versions of himself which will have different personalities with their own motives and characteristics.
