CD Projekt Red announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive the long-awaited next-gen update on December 14, 2022, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. According to the developer, the release will include all the DLCs and expansions of the original and will be available for free to The Witcher 3 owners.
As for its features, the upcoming update promises to include tons of visual, performance, and technical enhancements over the original, including ray tracing support, faster loading times on consoles, and more. Additionally, the next-gen version will include some additional content inspired by Netflix's The Witcher TV series.
