This Arcanum-Inspired CRPG Set in a Steampunk World Will be Launched in a Few Hours

The publisher Fulqrum Publishing has announced that New Arc Line, a fantasy CRPG heavily inspired by Arcanum and set in a steampunk world where magic meets technology, will be released in Early Access in just a few hours. 

If you missed our coverage of the game last year, the story of New Arc Line takes place in a fictional world during a golden age of magic and technology. Players will embark on an exploration of a vast world where they can choose to be good guys or villains. During the journey, players will get a chance to invent deadly gadgets, master the arcane arts, smooth-talk their way to the top, make foes and allies, fall in love, deal with a massive conspiracy, and more. 

The publisher also released a story trailer for the game, which gives players a preview of the narrative and characters they will meet in New Arc Line. 

The Iron Plague is the event that underlies the cause of the story, and the developers from Dreamate Studio have offered more details about this terrible affliction in this community update to give additional information about the setting of the game. They also fully explained the three playable technological classes that players can choose from, Diesel Engineer, Steam Mechanic, and Tesla Scientist.
