HAS Paint layers, a Blender add-on for streamlining the texture painting process created by a 3D Artist Hirourk, received an update and gets thoroughly improved.
With this add-on, you can create and organize multiple paint layers, use layers as adjustments for the layer below, which gives you precise control over color corrections and effects, experiment with blending modes, assign layers to specific material properties like Roughness, Metallic, Alpha, and Normal, and thus enhance your PBR workflow, as well as load textures into layers for quick integration of pre-existing assets.
Apart from this, the add-on's features include:
- Simple Bake maps
- Paint tools
- PBR Texture Painting for texturing PBR channels and easy setup
You will also be able to create a custom node group and use it as a filter, combine layers, apply filters, resize, export created textures or as ORA, and autosave textures.
