This Blender-Made 3D Environment Transports You Into Anime

The serene atmosphere of Japanese backwater is perfectly translated in Kaizoe's latest artwork.

CG Artist known online as Kaizoe continues their series of 3D environments with Japanese vibes by unveiling a stunning new scene that instantly evokes the feeling of peace and tranquility reminiscent of Studio Ghibli's timeless classic.

Portraying what appears to be a rural train station hidden somewhere deep in the Japanese countryside, Kaizoe's latest artwork boasts an unusual yet incredibly appealing art style combining both realistic and NPR, anime-style visuals into one magnificent piece. As for the software, the creator utilized Blender to set up the environment, with Cycles, Blender's physically-based path tracer, handling the rendering tasks.
