Described as a "suspense-adventure game" by the developer, CATATONIC GAME puts you in the shoes of Katrina the Cat, a troubled character partly inspired by Pat Sullivan's and Otto Messmer's iconic Felix the Cat in terms of design, tasking you to navigate the frenzied alleyways and uncover the mysteries of Mobb Paw's New Marilyn City.

As you venture through the city, deciphering clues to overcome bosses without resorting to violence, you'll also need to explore the diverse worlds within Katrina's mind. On top of that, CATATONIC GAME provides a unique mix of atmospheric ambiance and jazz music, as commented by the development team.

With the new trailer, the team provided a look at the title's gameplay, showing Katrina the Cat's abilities and movement animations, and demonstrated several new 2D environments created for the game that haven't been seen before. Additionally, the trailer revealed that Doug Walker, a.k.a. Nostalgia Critic, will provide a voiceover for one of the in-game characters.
