This Epic Immersive Saga Set in Viking Norway Received a Demo

NORSE: Oath of Blood, an upcoming turn-based tactics game developed by Arctic Hazard, received a demo, presenting an early narrative and mission section from the full game.

The RPG, set in Viking-Age Norway, follows the story of a young exiled warrior, Gunnar, who tries to rebuild his settlement, form strategic alliances, and pursue vengeance after his father was killed. Gunnar shapes the fate of his people, leading them to glory or leaving them sunk in treachery. The story is written by bestselling author Giles Kristian, and combined with diverse gameplay, the narrative creates an epic immersive saga. 

In turn-based battles, every detail matters, from positioning and unit synergy to terrain and each warrior's unique abilities, so you need to outsmart your enemies by strategically using your forces. The fighters also have customizable gear and upgradeable abilities.

As for the settlement, you can develop your village from a small camp to a prosperous stronghold, managing and gathering resources and upgrading buildings.
