This Free Tool Lets You Transfer Vertex ID In 3ds Max

Rév O'Conner's brand-new Transfer Vertex ID works like the vertex transfer utility inside of Maya, so users are presented with a familiar workflow.

It's surprising that 3ds Max doesn't do it natively, but now transferring vertex ID is possible thanks to Rév O'Conner's recently published free utility, working similarly to Maya's vertex ID transfer tool.

3ds Max's new tool allows users to transfer vertex ID from one mesh to another with the same vertex numbers and isn't limited by different shapes or UVs of the models. Transfer Vertex ID lets you choose three corresponding vertices from Source Mesh to Target Mesh:
