This Isometric Survival Horror Inspired by Silent Hill & Signalis Is Officially Announced

Liminal Point is scheduled be released in 2026.

HideWorks’ new project inspired by Silent Hill and Signalis, which we covered last October, has been officially revealed. It’s called Liminal Point, a psychological horror that “pays homage to the classics of the genre while delivering a modern, spine-chilling experience.”

Developed in Unreal Engine, Liminal Point features a stunning graphic style and a striking isometric perspective with detailed environments. You will take on the role of Lyra, who goes back to the desolate, fog-covered island to figure out the truth behind the loss of her bandmate, Mira.

As you explore the eerie, abandoned areas on the island, you’ll encounter cryptic messages and twisted creatures, as shown in the clip below. Manage limited resources strategically, deal with tense encounters, and dive into an atmosphere dripping with dread. “Navigate haunting locations, from crumbling mansions to fog-shrouded streets, where every corner hides a new mystery—or danger.”

The game will be available on PC via Steam when it’s launched sometime in 2026 and will also work on Steam Deck. The developers will also consider releasing it to Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch and adding more language localization in the future.
