This Japanese Artist Makes Crazy Realistic 2D Art In MediBang

Even a real hand doesn't look as real as this hand.

While we may have moved beyond the need for realistic art, a skilled artist always manages to impress. Often, it's the choice of medium or software that really highlights one's skill, and in the case of Nana, it's MediBang, a simple free drawing app for PC, Android, and iOS platforms.

In the past few months, Nana's incredibly hyper-realistic art has captivated thousands of people online. In their work, Nana mainly focuses on painting hands and experimenting with different lighting styles. Check out this timelapse of another one of their hand paintings:
