This Lightroom-Style Color Grading Blender Tool Is Getting Updates
Make the most of every project with Render Raw.
The advanced color workflow in Blender can still feel complex and unintuitive, leaving some artists frustrated with their results. Render Raw, created by Jonathan Lampel, offers a simple yet powerful interface for perfecting your projects in Blender.
It allows for lightning-fast color adjustments using easy, Lightroom-style sliders directly in the Properties Editor or 3D Viewport. Render Raw gives you all the classic controls, plus sliders for White, Highlight, Shadow, and Black levels. Refine details with Sharpening, Texture, and Clarity, and adjust Curves as expected. Color adjustments include Temperature, Tint, Color Boost, and Saturation, along with per-Hue and per-Value tweaks, plus separate control over Highlights, Midtones, and Shadows with any blend mode. To mimic real-camera effects, you can quickly apply Lens Distortion, Dispersion, Vignetting, Glare, and Film Grain.

The tool has been updated to fully support ACES, custom OCIO configurations, HDR displays, and wide-gamut working spaces. Jonathan also shared that the next version of Render Raw lets you link a camera to a layer, so it's only active when that camera is active, offering even more flexibility than traditional per-camera settings.
