This Meme Indie Game Puts You in the Shoes of Sisyphus

Push the boulder up the hill and imagine yourself happy in this fun game now available on Steam.

Check out The Game of Sisyphus, a new meme indie game developed by Cream that puts you in the shoes of the vicious king of Corinth from Greek mythology, allowing you to experience the impossible nature of Sisyphus' task firsthand by pushing the boulder up the cliff.

Differing from the original myth, this task is made more challenging by various obstacles like spikes, ice, bombs, and arrows hindering your futile quest to reach the hill's summit. Adding to the difficulty, you must navigate using arrow keys instead of WASD, while the boulder's direction is controlled by the left and right mouse buttons.

As is common practice in 2024, no game is truly complete without different skins granted to the player for their successes, and The Game of Sisyphus is no exception. Your achievements will unlock a variety of boulder skins, such as a basketball, a giant apple, a solid gold boulder, and more, with some skins further complicating the journey by making the boulder harder to maneuver.
