This Microstrategy Game on Steam Lets You Build a Little Kingdom

Thronefall is now available in Early Access on Steam featuring four fully playable levels and 36 unlockable perks and weapons.

Have a look at this minimalistic strategy game about building and defending little castle towns. Thronefall, now available on Steam in Early Access, is a new game in development from the makers of Islanders and Superflight in the genre of microstrategy.

Each round of Thronefall players pick weapons and equipment and set up a settlement to defend. The gameplay revolves around building walls and setting up barracks, recruiting units and dealing with waves of enemies who want to burn your little empire. The second essential part of the gameplay involves spending gold on improving your kingdom's economy for further expansion.

"With Thronefall we tried to strip a classic strategy game from all unnecessary complexity, combining it with some healthy hack and slay. Build up your base during the day, defend it til your last breath at night," said developers Grizzly Games.

The Early Access version of Thronefall features four fully playable levels, plus 36 unlockable perks and weapons. "While it's possible that you encounter minor bugs, the overall experience should be quite close to the finished project already," wrote the team.

In the upcoming full release, the team plans to add more playable levels, perks, and weapons to unlock and equip. You can learn more and buy the Early Access version on Steam. The game currently has overwhelmingly positive feedback with 1876 reviews. The dev team plans to increase Thronefall's price in proportion to the new gameplay content so don't miss your chance.
