Nuclear Option is an immersive combat flight game designed for the near future's dynamic and realistic battlefield. Created by indie developer Shockfront Studios, the game gives you a chance to engage in battles where you can intercept bombers, be part of fighter duels, perform stealthy maneuvers, or unleash the devastating power of nuclear weapons on enemy formations, using an array of advanced weaponry.
Each aircraft in Nuclear Option offers an immersive cockpit experience with a situational awareness HUD, allowing you to identify targets and threats in your vicinity. Whether you prefer using various controllers or a mouse-controlled "virtual joystick," no special hardware is required to fly the aircraft.

Here you can experience the realism of flight dynamics with fully implemented stalls, spins, and g-force effects. Each aircraft is composed of up to 50 individually simulated physics parts, and a highly detailed damage model means that the condition of each part directly affects your aircraft's performance.
You can take full control of your experience by using the included mission editor to build your own missions. Then, you can challenge yourself solo or join friends in engaging PVP or PVE multiplayer combat scenarios.
Nuclear Option, currently available on Steam Early Access, offers an expansive map and a diverse selection of aircraft to fly. The available aircraft include a prop-driven ground attack craft, a stealth attack helicopter, a light attack jet, a strategic bomber, and an air superiority fighter. You can engage in scenarios featuring enemy and friendly ground vehicles, installations, and fixtures, with the map spanning approximately 100km.
One notable aspect of Nuclear Option is the positive reception it has received from players of both Ace Combat and DCS, appealing to both hardcore simulator enthusiasts and casual flight sim fans. This crossover appeal is a rarity within the flight combat sim genre. Another noteworthy feature of Nuclear Option is the impressive scale of destruction that can occur during gameplay. Battlefields are vast and persistent, with lingering wreckage, smoke, and blast craters. The game also incorporates realistic physics modeling for the nuclear bombs and cruise missiles, resulting in massive rings of destruction and shockwaves capable of taking down aircraft.
You can buy the game on Steam for $14,99 and don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
