It's Nodevember again, the annual challenge that celebrates procedural art, and as usual, Mingwei "CMZW" Lim participated, this time showcasing an animated material, something you wouldn't expect could even be animated.
As he explained, this one was done in Material Maker, and because it's a Dynamic PBR Material, it outputs a shader rather than static maps, so nearly any element can be animated. The Dynamic PBR Material can then be brought into game engines. For Godot and Unity, ready-to-use materials are generated, while for Unreal, a shader is produced for use inside a Custom node.
