3D Artist SORAN continues to experiment with Ghibli-style digital dishes, presenting a new astonishing 3D piece guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds. This time, the creator unveiled a short mouth-watering animation depicting an egg frying in a pan with two slices of wavy bacon, hypnotizing the viewer with its gleaming bacon fat and flickering flames, the latter intentionally exaggerated by the author for dramatic effect. To set up the sequence, SORAN utilized Blender, a free and open-source 3D software for modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and VFX.
Unfortunately, in this day and age when AI "art" is everywhere, some initially mistook SORAN's animation for a machine-generated piece. Thankfully, the author quickly dispelled all concerns by sharing a couple of behind-the-scenes shots, attached below, proving that the sequence is indeed hand-made:
