This Upcoming Game Feels Like a 3D Version of Factorio

Build factories and optimize assembly lines in shapez 2, an upcoming sequel to the 2020 shapez.

Do you like Factorio and would love to have a similar experience but in 3D? If the answer is yes, here's an incredible upcoming game that might pique your interest. Check out shapez 2, a new factory-building experience from tobspr Games and Gamera Games and a sequel to the 2020 shapez.

In shapez 2, your task is to build complex large-scale multi-level factories, optimizing your layouts and assembly lines to make the most of every platform you utilize. Instead of coal and iron, your factories will extract and process geometric shapes. Each shape functions as its own set of building blocks that your factories can disassemble, stack, paint, and reassemble in unique ways. As you progress, you will need to build more and more distinct shapes to unlock new technologies and expand your factory's capabilities.

"Shapez 2 is the purest factory building game imaginable – all buildings are free, resources never run out and there are no enemies or time limits," comments the team. "Prepare for a 100% factory-building experience: effortlessly delete, redesign, and rebuild as much as you want, with no penalties, at your own pace.

You're always in complete control – whether the messy spaghetti belts you built four hours ago could use some improvements or a whole circle factory needs to go, shapez 2 gives you the tools to do it without limitations."
