This VR Anime Narrative Game Received a New Gameplay Feature
PROJECT MIX now allows for taking Y2K-inspired pictures with an in-game camera.
The developers of PROJECT MIX, a VR anime narrative game, introduced a new gameplay feature – the in-game flip phone camera now allows for taking retro-style atmospheric pictures.
The option is available because the camera now operates at a lower FPS, allowing for recreating a Y2K aesthetic in full glory (ghosting artifacts included as well).
PROJECT MIX is a bartender simulator, inspired by the Persona series, where you play as a young former thug, Rone. He starts a new life and unexpectedly becomes a bartender after meeting Valencia, the eccentric bar owner of Eleventh Heaven in the Mong Kok district.
In the sim, you meet new characters attending the bar, serve drinks, and enjoy interactive bartending mechanics built for VR, appreciate small and subtle life moments, such as having a smoke after work, sharing a drink, and petting your cat. You can also explore the cyberpunk world through gorgeous and atmospheric anime-style environments, accompanied by the original soundtrack, including jazz, synthpop, and citypop.
