This WIP Game About Fighting Giant Alien Machines Receives Updates

FlipSwitch Games, the studio behind the upcoming survival horror War of the Worlds, shared an update on the game's development process.

The developers shared a first look at multiplayer and major improvements to the player controller. The updates also include improvements in the game's core systems, such as weapons, vehicles, and more, introduce new weapons, equipment, and tools, and offers an enhanced atmosphere of the game's world, featuring new lighting, fog, clouds, weather, effects, and sound design.

Apart from this, the novelties include new map areas, environmental improvements, expanded character abilities, improved building and world interaction, and more.

War of the Worlds is a hardcore open-world survival horror, where players face the extermination of mankind caused by giant alien machines. In the game, you need to survive a week in that apocalyptic world, scavenging and looting for food, resources, and other tools.

You need not only to avoid aliens but also stay alert when communicating with other humans, as they also struggle to survive. In multiplayer, you can choose a side to play for – humans or aliens.
