Todd Howard Doubted About Lead Voice Actor in Indiana Jones

The long-awaited Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released this December, promising the audience a new, exciting adventure of the beloved character. Renowned actor Troy Baker, known for his roles as Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite and Joel in The Last of Us, will voice Indiana Jones. However, Bethesda's lead Todd Howard initially didn't want the actor to portray Indiana Jones.

"We felt for this project, and the time period it was set in, we cast a pretty wide net," Todd Howard said (via Rolling Stones). When Howard and Baker met in a Zoom call, the developer directly told the actor that he wasn't what they wanted. However, after numerous auditions, Baker was the final choice. Howard told him, "I'll have you know, we did a blind taste test, and people chose you every time."

There are rumors that Troy Baker will voice the main character of GTA 6. Baker addressed the rumors and said that it's hard to identify the actor as the main character only says one word "trust."
