Bethesda is not ready to share anything just yet.
Todd Howard gave a new interview on his path, Starfield and what lies ahead – the legendary game director also briefly mentioned the upcoming game dedicated to the famous archaeologist from the Lucasfilm movie series, Indiana Jones. Howard doesn't want to go into details about the work on the project, but this time the game designer hinted that they will start talking about the game somewhere next year.
"I am a giant Indiana Jones fan. It can be brought to video games in a unique way," Howard said."The game is obviously: you’re exploring stuff. It’s about him. So if you’re playing the game, how do you feel that you are indeed playing versus just watching?"
"We’ll talk next year."
You can find the full interview here. Earlier, Bethesda's Todd Howard said he's halfway done with executive producing MachineGames' Indiana Jones game. The game production is still in full swing though, so it's unlikely the release will happen next year.
The game based on the franchise, developed by the studio behind Wolfenstein: The New Order and its sequel, was originally announced in 2021. No details about the project have been revealed since then.
