According to the player, his data was stolen and sold.
Hakoom, the biggest PlayStation Trophy Hunter, retires from PlayStation, as the company's employee allegedly stole and sold his personal data.
Hakoom took to social media to explain the situation that occurred two months ago. On September 9, his account was permanently suspended for no reason or explanation. A few days after that, Hakoom received a message on WhatsApp from an unknown person that stated the player's data was leaked and the user was bribing PlayStation employees, stealing players' data, and selling it. In a video, Hakoom provided photos showing the PlayStation admin computers, which no user can access on a regular computer.
Hakoom forwarded this information to PlayStation for investigation, but the answer wasn't as he had expected. The company accused the player of several violations instead of dealing with the suspended account and alleged leak. According to Hakoom, PlayStation tries to avoid facing the issue of data leakage, even after the player has presented the evidence. The company said it would raise the ban in 45 days. Hakoom was also removed from the partnership program. Now, the trophy hunter has his account back, but he shared that this "oppression and corruption" is something that undermines trust in the company.
Hakoom achieved the first rank in the PlayStation trophy system in 2009, and in 2018 and 2019, he entered Guinness five times. Later, he partnered with PlayStation and started receiving review codes and hardware for reviewing.
