Mixing the process of modeling, animation, and simulation, Procedural Anatomy aims to simplify the muscle model creation workflow to create realistic anatomical models.
Developed by Djangotron Studios, Procedural Anatomy is a toolset based on SideFX's Houdini, claiming to be "the only one of its kind" and promising to streamline the complex process of delivering realistic anatomical models for the simulation of the human body.
Data-driven, Procedural Anatomy places anatomy with a high degree of accuracy and generates muscle and skin simulation rigs for the body thanks to SDF. Import your character, match the Procedural Anatomy’s animation skeleton and the tool will generate muscle geometry over the skeleton along with soft tissue to achieve the character's overall volume.
Procedural Anatomy's results are compatible with the KineFX toolset and can be exported to other DCC software.
For a limited time, you can try the toolset in your workflow with free open beta until July 24. While there is no information about the release date or pricing, users will be able to use the toolset until August 6.
